Orangebox Training has partnered with the Newcastle United Executive Club to showcase their bespoke training offer to the wider business community with extensive brand exposure at St. James’ Park. Established only 3 years ago, Orangebox has grown to become a regional and national training company.
The Hartlepool training company will see its logo broadcast to more than 50,000 supporters including corporate events at every home game.
Orangebox initially set up by ex undercover police officer Simon Corbett who had an illustrious career with Durham Police and the National Crime Agency. The company has grown from himself to a 10 strong team with over 30 freelance trainers. Orangebox prides itself on being different and only ever employs experienced trainers who have the right credentials and life experience to deliver a memorable and enjoyable course. Simon wanted to take the company to the next level and wanted to increase our profile with his childhood club and the wider community.
The Newcastle United Executive Club is formed through a partnership between Eleven Sports Media and the Football Club. As an Executive Club partner, Orangebox training sees their company branding displayed on crowd-facing digital LED boards, in addition to StadiumTV and StatTV screens, located within the concourses.
Based in Hartlepool, becoming a Newcastle United Executive Club partner demonstrates the business’ local pride. Most of Orangebox Training customers and employees come from within a 30-mile radius, and Simon Corbett CEO outlined why the business has been such a great success in a short period of time.
“We’ve been going for three years but have had great success with new and existing customers in the North East. We have a great footprint in Newcastle with companies but like to make it bigger and better. Many smaller training companies have fallen away recently but with our drive and ambition we have shown steady growth.”
He went on to say “We are very different from other training companies. As a business, we focus on only providing memorable and enjoyable training whether that is first aid training to senior management training. We only ever try to offer quality and I think that is why people are taking note of what we are trying to achieve here at Orangebox.
“We’re versatile in what we do. As a business, we do work with large enterprise companies as well as SMEs regionally and nationally offering a broad selection of training. However, we also love to work with local businesses as well as regional job centers in helping up-skill unemployed people back into work with our Employability, Warehousing or Taxi Academy.
As lifelong Newcastle United supporters, being associated with their local football club gives Simon and his team a sense of achievement: “It’s fantastic when you sit there and see your name going around the boards. It does give you a lot of pride, the fact that we can do that.
