No experience is needed to earn up to £9.25 per hour as a Parcel Sorter at our client’s busy distribution centre, for one of the UK’s largest parcel delivery companies.

Staffline is recruiting for a Parcel Sorter to work in Rugby.

The rate of pay is:

• £8.72 per hour for day shifts

• £9.12 per hour for night shifts

This is a full-time role and you will work in a shift pattern of 3 on, and 3 off. The hours of work are:

• 5.45am to 2.00pm

• 1.45pm to 10pm

• 9.45pm to 6am

Your time at work

As a Parcel Sorter for this site, you will read labels and postcodes on parcels, place them on to the conveyors and ensure that the barcode/label is readable by the sorting machines and scanners.

You will also load and unload parcels and complete other general warehouse duties as required.

This is a physically active role which involves standing for long periods and lifting parcels that can weigh up to 20kg.

Our ideal Parcel Sorter is physically fit and happy to stand for long periods, lifting parcels repetitively.

You should have a good understanding of the English language, written and verbal, in order to communicate with others and to read the postcodes and labels on parcels.

You should be self-motivated and work well as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment.

No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
