Calling all local businesses, Orangebox Training are asking for a helping hand from fellow local Teesside businesses to help provide opportunities for 16 to 24 years olds as part of a new project. January 2020, Orangebox have an exciting opportunity to change local unemployed people’s lives by offering funded training that will help upskill and progress local 16 to 24-year-old individuals from Teesside towards employment.
The Hartlepool training company will deliver a fantastic 4-week training programme, which will not only develop the learners as individuals, but gain them multiple qualifications in a variety of subjects.
On a visit in December 2018, The Mayor (Ben Houchen) visited Orangebox saying:
“Orangebox maybe the new kids on the block, but the team has achieved a lot in a very short space of time.” He went on to say
“They are already doing what all Tees Valley businesses, big or small, should be doing – throwing their arms open and embracing the opportunities.”
Ben Houchen visited the team again this week, Glen Hughes, Design and Marketing Manager at Orangebox Training, said:
“When we welcomed the Mayor a year ago, we were close to hitting the milestone of steering around 10,000 people through our courses.
“Since then, our small team of around ten full-time staff and 20 freelance trainers has helped even more people, and we’ve deepened our links with local businesses and colleges. It was great to host the Mayor again and show him how far we’ve come and to see how we can work together in the future to help people across the Tees Valley.”
Orangebox would like to work with employers from all sectors. From builders to hairdressers and dog groomers to window cleaners, we’d like to speak to you all.
Mark Redstone, Business Development at Orangebox Training, said “In addition to providing the training, we can help fellow businesses by signposting to other funding opportunities. Support with matters such as salaries and mitigation to any other barriers which you may have, can all be discussed.”
Mark Redstone went on to say “The outcome from this project could be life-changing for many of these young people, who are keen to gain experience and employment”
To be part of this amazing opportunity or if you want to provide work experience, a traineeship or employment opportunities to the local community, you can contact Orangebox using the details below, to register your interest.
